What is AAU?
The Amateur Athletic Union is a national organization dedicated to amateur sports and physical fitness programs.
How does my daughter get on a Cincinnati Firestorm team?
By attending tryout sessions and by contacting one of our coaches. Tryouts are TBA. Please see our tryouts page, for when the next tryout date is.
What is involved in the commitment to a Cincinnati Firestorm team?
Each player is expected to make all games and practices. There are always conflicts but absences hurt the team and are unfair to the players coaches and teammates. Communication with the coach’s is crucial about these items.
What about time commitment?
It depends on the season and which team your daughter is selected for.
What’s the cost?
The club fee is determined by the season in which the club is playing? The AAU season cost’s $350.
Is there fundraising? Yes.
What are some of the goals for the kids?
For the players to grow as people and as players, for the team to play as well as it can, and for everyone to have fun.
